These Terms of Service (hereinafter "ToS") govern the use of the Cherlok application, a LinkedIn prospecting automation tool. Cherlok enables its users to send invitations, follow-up messages, and personalized replies powered by artificial intelligence, directly from their LinkedIn account.
Access to Cherlok is provided by installing the Chrome extension and signing in to the dashboard at app.cherlok.com. Authentication is handled via magic link (email).
Two plans are available:
- Free plan: free access with limited features (3 AI messages per day, unlimited invitations).
- Pro plan: full access to all features (40 AI messages per day, unlimited invitations) for a monthly subscription fee.
The user is solely responsible for their LinkedIn account and their use of Cherlok. The user agrees to comply with LinkedIn's Terms of Service as well as all applicable regulations, particularly those relating to commercial prospecting and personal data protection.
The user agrees not to use Cherlok for any unlawful, abusive, or purposes contrary to good LinkedIn prospecting practices.
Cherlok incorporates protective mechanisms designed to limit the risk of sanctions from LinkedIn (daily limits, random delays, duplicate detection). However, Cherlok does not guarantee the absence of restrictions, suspensions, or account closures by LinkedIn resulting from the use of the tool.
The user acknowledges that automating certain actions on LinkedIn carries inherent risks and agrees to assume full responsibility for them.
The Pro subscription is billed at EUR99 per month, with automatic monthly payments processed through the Stripe payment platform. The subscription is commitment-free and can be cancelled at any time from the user's dashboard.
Upon cancellation, access to Pro features remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that period, the account automatically reverts to the Free plan.
The user may stop using Cherlok at any time by uninstalling the Chrome extension. Pro subscription cancellation can be done through the dashboard or by contacting support. After termination, the user retains access to the Free plan.
Cherlok is provided "as is". The publisher of Cherlok shall not be held liable for:
- Sanctions, restrictions, or LinkedIn account closures resulting from the use of the tool.
- Data loss related to the use or uninstallation of the application.
- Commercial results obtained or not obtained through the tool.
- Service interruptions, bugs, or temporary malfunctions.
The source code, design, algorithms, and all elements constituting Cherlok are protected by intellectual property law. The user is granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the software. Any reproduction, modification, redistribution, or reverse engineering of the software is strictly prohibited.
The publisher reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Users will be notified of any substantial changes via a notification within the application. Continued use of Cherlok after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new ToS.
These ToS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of the publisher's registered office.
